I have stubby nails....

How can I get my nails to look like this?

I always thought woman with long slender nails were so beautiful.

They remind me of Barbie, or my childhood icon, Carmen San Diego.

I hate my short, stubby nails.  Bah

Any suggestions on how can still achieve these hipster, yet, desirable nail looks?  Pweeze?

Monochromaticccccc

I personally think I look hungover in this picture....but I posted it anyways.  Nobody is perfect...

Coat: J.Crew, Blouse: Anthropologie, Pants: Anthropologie, Shoes: Jessica Simpson

I see monochromatic outfits all over the blogosphere.  At first, they weirded me out, and then I decided to give it a try.

I tried.  I loved.

There something about wearing the same color all over your body that makes you feel like a natural woman.

Hahahaha

But I'm serious.

Comment and link up your favorite monochromatic outfit on the net!

Soul Sisters

Me and two of my besties that are on the company with me, Kasey and Elise.

The Whole gang in our glory
 The Jorgensen sisters strike again...

My Sista and I....do we look alike?

So this last picure....

I did this specific dance move in one of the pieces I was in for our concert this past weekend.

I had no idea what I looked like doing it, so I asked my friend Elise to take a picture of it.

I saw it after she took it and I said, "wait, I seriously look like that?  That looks freaking rad!"

Not trying to be vain, but I didn't know I had it in me!!!

I loved our concert this past weekend.  Dancing is so good for my soul, and all the people on the company are my souls sisters.

Love you all!

Stay tuned tomorrow.  I have a sweeeeeet giveaway happening.

I don't like it when geese hiss at me...

Laurabphoto.blogspot.com

Blouse: from Taiwan, Jacket: J.Crew, Necklace: Borrowed from LauraB, Skirt: Four and Twenty Sailors Boutique (SLC), Shoes: Jessica Simpson, Watch: Christmas Gift

How's for wearing the same jacket two outfits posts in a row?

Whatevs.

Story Time.

Two weekends ago I was at a Dance Conference up at Weber State.

As I was leaving the conference to go to my car, I was eating one of those ambrosial Cadbury Cream Eggs that has that soft delectable fondant in the middle that resembles the yolk of an egg.  So good.

When suddenly,

I was ambushed by a flock of geese running at me, squawking at me, and doing what they do best--hissing at me.

To be completely honest, the first thing I thought of was to place this situation with the background music of Richard Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries."

Not kidding guys.  There were ten geese running at me.  What else was I supposed to do?

Right.  I ran away and yelled, "Why the freak are you chasing me!  This is a chocolate egg, not real one you daft heads."

The only thing that one guy with the uni-brow did while walking past me was laugh.

Oh ya?  How bout I throw the egg at your face, and then we'll see who's laughing dude.

Sorry that was rude.

Anyway....I ran.  They ran after me, still hissing.

I hid behind my car.  They couldn't find me.  What a great car, right?

When the moment was right I jumped out, screamed so I would scare the crud out of them, and then scared myself by frantically opening my car door and shutting it as fast as humanly possible.

Never a dull moment.
