11 years and still going strong

Because it's Christmas break, I am unfortunately apart from my photographer lover.  You'll have to put up with Instagram pho-tos for a little while....

For 11 years now, me and this beautiful lady have done an annual Christmas shopping fest.  We go to a store and we buy each other the exact same thing for Christmas.  She is a DOLL and has been a best friend now for 11 years.  Alisha.  I. Love. You.

This year, we decided to brave the H&M.  Parking was madness.  The parking lot was a parking lot....ha.  

People were honking and yelling at me as I waited for a girl to leave her parking spot and I thought,  Ya!  This is what Christmas is all about you WIENERS!

We went into H&M, and we immediately hated our lives.  It was packed and overwhelming.  Usually we spend hours in the store looking for the perfect gift for each other , but we got so drained from the crowds.

We thought we would buy these cardigans (pictured above) for eachother.  But ya know....sometimes the H&M just doesn't get it right.  We looked like a bunch of G-MA's but with perkier LADIES....

This year was different.  I bought Lish a Kate Middleton look alike dress, and she bought me a pair of leopard print gloves.  

You CANNOT go wrong with leopard print gloves.  Even if the guys behind us in the check out line did smell like dog turd.....

 I'm STA-RESSIN.  I was at the library until 2 am last night.  Planned on waking up at 8 but slept through my alarm and woke up at freaking NOON.  Woooooooow Meg.  

I didn't think it was possible to have a room where the floor is covered entirely, but the closet is still full.    Welcome to my finals world....I guess.  Not admirable, but it is what it is.

I'm so excited about this giveaway!

I have an incredibly talented friend whose name is Roxanne Gray ( Whose blog can be found Here).  Her name alone permits the word RAD.

This lady is so adorable, stands at like 5'1", and with her husband, Sam, runs a vintage clothing shop on ETSY called Rox & Sam vintage. 

Yesterday, I had the privilege of spending 3 precious hours with Rox to play dress up with her UH-MAZIN' shop.

You guys, I literally wanted to buy everything and try everything on.  I even wanted to try on all the baby clothes they were so adorable.

You heard me.  They sell women's, men's and baby clothes.

Roxanne and her husband Sam travel all over, and collect vintage items and then sell them on her shop.  Roxanne and I wanted to collaborate because we know that dressing in classic, vintage clothing can be scary and intimidating.  There is, however, a definite way to make it look modern and HOT, if you will.  There really is!  And.  It makes your outfits more unique and fun.  So go outside yourself!
