Thriftalicious.

Top: THA-RIFTED!!!,  Jeans: Nordstrom Rack, Shoes: Jessica Simpson, Jewelry: Betsey Johnson

My mom and I share a love of thrift store shopping.  It's a bonding time for us really.  She'll buy something at a thrift store and I'll be jealous of it or vice versa.  Jealousy is the foundation of every mother/daughter relationship.  I'm kidding--love you mom.  In this case, I was at home before school started, and one night I walked into her room.  Lo and behold, this precious lace top was perfectly draped on top of her bed.  It's like she was teasing me or something.

So,

I yelled her name to get her attention.  Really loudly.  When she got to her room.  I looked at her and said, "What is this?  It's so beautiful."  She got that smirky, sly smile on her face that I know SOOOO well.  She got it at DI, a thrift store based in Utah.  I, of course, like any normal daughter begged slash maybe demanded she give it to me.  Did she budge?  No.  Lame.

BUT.

She did say I could borrow it for a week.  Such a kind mom right?  What's yours is mine and mine is yours.....botta boom botta bing.
